Aaren Russell

Aaren has always been looking for new challenges within motorsport. This passion has seen him excel over many years in various forms of racing. From 2000 to 2006 Aaren honed his skills in karting, accruing numerous podiums and race wins before jumping up to the New Zealand Star Cars Championship in 2007. This campaign proved to very successful securing second in the championship.

2008 and 2009 saw Aaren line up in the NSW Formula Vee championship, a stepping stone taken by several current main series V8 Supercar Drivers. After placing 8th in his 2008 rookie season and 2nd in 2009 the Dunlop Development V8 Supercar series became his next target. 2010 has seen him make an impressive debut with an average placing of 11th from a field consisting of often more than 20 starters.

Targeting an improvement to his performances on track in 2011 and beyond Aaren is a highly valued asset to Novocastrian Motorsport.
