Winton Motor Raceway

Winton Motor Raceway 16-18 NOVEMBER 2012

The tight and twisty rural layout features a range of slow corners which combine to make Winton the slowest circuit on the V8 Supercar calendar.

A total of 12 corners linked by short straights, it was lengthened by a kilometre in 1997. With so many slow corners, having a car that can be kind to its rear tyres is crucial, particularly in the longer races.

Winton Motor Raceway is ‘The Nation’s Action Track’ with a good combination of tight and twisting corners, as well as some long fast straights. The racing at Winton is always close and exciting.
